West Campus Nature Trails Matthew Garrett

Yale’s new West Campus, a former pharmaceutical research and manufacturing facility, covers 136 acres and has 1.6 million square feet of floor space. From top, the Oyster River and a small forest bisect the property; 600,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space to hold and display collections from the university’s libraries, museums and galleries; a five-acre parcel with several nature trails; and 3,000 parking spaces.
