Michael Fitzsousa

Michael Fitzsousa is director of strategic communications for the School of Medicine, responsible for new media development, communications from the Dean’s Office, the Weekly Digest, Facts & Figures, and special projects including the YSM Bicentennial observance and strategic planning for medical education. He was executive producer of the Bicentennial film “Ancient Art, Modern Science: 200 Years of Medicine at Yale” and the “Bicentennial Voices” video series and was a contributor to the book “Medicine at Yale: The First 200 Years.” Michael was editor of Yale Medicine magazine from 1997 to 2010. He is an alumnus of Johns Hopkins University and worked as a news reporter and editor before coming to Yale in 1994.
